Update: December 26, 2003
We went to an inspirational Christmas Play at Morris hill church last Friday. The play was based on the celebration of the life of Christ - how His sacrifice gave all of us "hope" for salvation. In the story line of the play they show that He was born to die. The narrator was Kim Malone, Angel 1-Greg Malone, Jim-Dean Coco, Joseph- T.J. Wallace, Mary- Bailee Frazier, InnKeeper-Avery Borden, Shepherd 1-Jacob Holloway, Shepherd 2- Evan Borden, Shepherd 3 -Ryan Aday, Shepherd 4 -Shannon Tuberville, Shepherd 5 - Tony Ogletree, Angel 11 - Kayla Holloway. The singing was beautiful...we had "Mary Did You Know" by Diane Borden and "We are the reason" by Kayla Holloway & Tara Coco plus our own very special little Angel Corner with Kayla Holloway, Jessica Holloway, Tara Coco, Tori Coco, Tiffany Coco, Shianna Tuberville, Kaylee Borden, and Dakota Ogletree who were stunning in their shimmering white robes & gold edged wings & halos. It's unbelievable how well all this turned out with the design, set, direction, production, costumes, and story line handled by ordinary people like you and me ( WITH talent added ). We know the "spirit" was controlling and inspiring this play, the actors and the actresses as they went through their parts.
Bobby & Kathy visited us Christmas Eve during the day and our children and grandchildren came over on Christmas Eve night. I love every minute of these family visits and Thank the Lord for all my blessings.
Christmas Day we went over to our sons home for dinner which I will probably carry with me for a few days <big smile>. His wife, Gimece is a fantastic cook in a class all her own, uses some recipes left her from her mother, grandmother and others who have shared their cooking secrets with her. They had family from both "his and hers" sides of the family and everybody enjoyed being together sharing in this celebration of the season.
You know not many people do have both sides of their family over at the same time? We do tend to plan our special celebrations with "either" this "or" that couple or group of people instead of mixing them up so they could get the blessing of knowing each other. I guess sometimes it is because there isn't enough "room" for everybody but sometimes I think we "match" our guest list...kinds of like the "wildflowers" and the "roses"! It's wonderful how everything just kind of flows together when God is in charge.
May God Bless and keep everybody safe until we meet again!

Hello Family and Friends,
I thought it would be a good idea to give updates on what is happening from time to time instead of just putting up the site and leaving it. This has been a pretty rough week with so many folks from the community and our Church coming down with the virus and flu that's been going around.
I know how vicious that virus can be since I was in the hospital with it last month. I was so bullheaded about going into the hospital that Kathy wound up coming here Sunday night AFTER we'd been in Church most of the day and everything and spend the night. Good thing she has spent years as a Home Health and Hospital nurse because one night taking care of me I am sure took every bit of patience and skill she'd ever learned. I've been in nursing for 20 years and I'm here to admit that some of us nurses make the very worst patients there can be, we think we can fix ourselves..... sometimes we think we can just "wear anything off". Well, a couple days in the hospital and a lot of prayers and I was up and out. Strange thing is that the first nurse that saw me in the hospital was the daughter in law of the Minister of the little Morris Hill Church I'd attended just a couple times at the time and most of the other nurses either knew me from our nursing community. They were very good to me and I pray that none of them got sick with this "yuk" from me. As for our little Church I am glad that it has been a month since I had it so that I can be fairly comfortable that I didn't spread the "germ" to everybody.
On Wednesday there were just a few of us there, we still had a wonderful spirit filled service. We raised our voices and sang praises to Our Lord. We all read Psalm 91 together, it is one of the Psalm prayers for protection. It talks about us being protected by being in Gods shadow, covered by wings, and even talks about the angels being sent to guard us from sickness and plague.
I've been reading that and several of my other favorite Psalms today as we had to miss Church on account of my husband having a major bad cold, seems like the virus everybody is coming down with but he doesn't have the stomach yuks like I did. He seems to be getting a little better, maybe it was all part of Gods plan so we could settle back and "feel" His spirit in our home. It gave me the time to put up this web site and even make an update!
There are so many beautiful Psalms for thanksgiving, praise, love, glory and protections.... I could spend all day reading them over and still get more from them with each reading. Have you ever noticed that no matter how many times you read over parts of the Bible you will still get more understanding every single time you read it again?
When I was young it was one of my favorite story books, like a whole library from the beginning story of the Paradise with Adam and Eve to the end where the Savior comes back and calls up His People. I've been thinking about the phrase in the Bible where it says many will be called but few will be chosen??? There's a lot to that short statement that is put different ways throughout the Bible. If you get a chance, think on it and let me know what you think it means? I'm thinking that many folks will be called to let Jesus in their hearts to be "saved" but there will be SOME who will be CHOSEN to have special parts in Gods Master Plan. The Chosen ones will have "gifts" such as those mentioned throughout the Bible ... maybe even be able to convey Gods "healing" through their hands, of course I'm not sure of anything. God works in mysterious ways and we're just not meant to know everything. Of course thats just my opinion and my opinion isn't anymore valuable than the next persons. This little update is getting a little long winded so I'll close for now.
May God Bless and keep you safe. Verse for the day....... "You will know the truth (Jesus) and the truth will set you free" John 8:32 .......
This light is shining brighter and brighter everyday, I pray we all make such a bright light that it will be like a "lighthouse" for souls.
JESUS LOVES YOU!!!
