"my most peaceful place"
As I approach my most peaceful place
Where I bow before Thy Throne.
I praise Thee God for the wonder of Grace,
A gift I claim for my very own.
As i bow my head i close my eyes,
while my heart vacations through heavenly space,
adrift with tranquil rest, at my most peaceful place.
this is where i meet with thee
and lay all my heavy burdens down.
what could i do, what would i be without thee lord,
but pace here below with a weary frown.
this world is not my home i know.
my spirit longs to shine, and wear that glow,
like those who have gone to be with thee,
in one of the many mansions above
that christ jesus is now preparing for me.
on this journey below, help me represent
a woman after thine own heart as i repent
of the many transgressions i have ever done
and to live here and to love here as did thy son.
after my amen in faith, i leave my most peaceful place,
knowing much of the temptations in this world i will face
and oh so hard they strike like a rock,
because satan set on ready his perfect timed clock.
but like the lord jesus, father help me to be,
a shining example through the life though hast chosen for me.
to thee be the glory in your son's name,
amen and amen,
love,
your child here until the end of time and forever eternally in heaven
